Opal Marie Hubbard UHLMANNAge 90, Gainesville - Mrs. Uhlmann died Sunday, March 5, 2006, at Gainesville Health Care Center. She was born Oct. 31, 1915, in Princeton, the daughter of Kelsey and Mattie Snider Hubbard. She married Arno Uhlmann Sept. 1, 1954, at Flint, Mich. She was a member of the Trinity Worship Center in West Plains. Mrs. Uhlmann is survived by one brother, Arthur Hubbard and his wife, Ada, of Anderson, Calif.; two sisters, Edith Hollingshad and her husband, Joe, of Dora, and Ruth McClary of Redding, Calif.; one sister-in-law, Margie Hubbard of Anderson, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arno, on Aug. 12, 1987; her parents; one sister, Geneve Duncan; and one brother, Jackson Hubbard.Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 9 at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery in West Plains.  Memorials can be made to a charity of choice and can be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home in West Plains. Beverly Jean Upton

57, West Plains, Mo., were held Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Howell County, Mo., with the Rev. Logan Friend officiating under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, West Plains. She was born the daughter of Edna Gunter Croney and the late Delbert Croney, on June 1, 1951, in West Plains, Mo., and died April 25, 2009, in West Plains, Mo. She was united in marriage Dec. 5, 1998, in Moody, Mo., to Mike Upton. She is survived by her husband, Mike Upton, of the home, West Plains; her mother, Edna Gunter Moffis of West Plains; her stepfather, Pat Moffis of West Plains; her mother-in-law, Julie Upton; three children, Shawn Talton of Pottersville, Mo., Jamie Croney of West Plains, and Kami Tilly of West Plains; three brothers, Charles Croney and wife, Barbara, of Solo, Mo., Ronnie Croney of Solo, Mo. and Patrick D. Moffis and wife, Mandy, of West Plains and one sister, Joanne Kocher of West Plains; eight grandchildren, LaTisha Talton Jazmine Talton, Haylie Morris, Shyanne Roper, Jordan Croney, Dameon Croney, Aleasia Housely, and Adrianna Tilley; three great-grandchildren, Kylee Garnett, Kadence Garnett and Xavier Garnett. She was preceded in death by her father, Delbert Croney; and her father-in-law, Clifford Upton. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her kids, grandkids, her dogs, loved to fish and do crafts. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Howell County, Mo., under the direction of Carter Funeral Home Inc., West Plains. UptonAge 64, West Plains MO - Mr. Upton died 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at his home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Riverways Hospice and left at the funeral home. Family visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.  Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2003, in the Rose Chapel of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains.  Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
